Check it out; a brand new training kit about SharePoint and Silverlight and how to combine the two! This course was just released by Microsoft. Darrin Bishop, David Mann, and myself worked with Paul Stubbs to create it over the past couple of months. There’s some really great examples in this training kit which includes over 30 labs.
Some of my favorite labs include:
- Making a Silverlight banner ad rotator that displays banner ads in a SharePoint list.
- Creating sample SharePoint data which allows you to edit Silverlight applications in Expression Blend without being connected to a SharePoint server.
- Interacting with hosting web pages and the Silverlight applications deployed on them.
- Replacing the out of the box navigation controls in SharePoint with Silverlight.
