Snow On Quandary Lower Slopes

In the latest issue of SharePoint ProConnections magazine I wrote an article that shares some lessons learned while building SharePoint WCM sites.  These lessons learned include:

  • How to keep SharePoint page sizes small so your sites load quickly
  • How to use JQuery and custom code with the Content By Query Web Part to create compelling user interfaces and navigation components
  • How to allow anonymous users to rate content

You can check out the article here, or view the entire print version of the magazine here.

Hopefully these lessons learned help you out as you create your own SharePoint WCM Sites.
