Speaking at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2011

I’m excited to announce that I’ve been selected to speak at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2011, in Anaheim, CA.  Lately I’ve been doing a ton of work with SharePoint and Windows Phone 7 integration and that’s what I’ll be speaking about.  Here’s some more details about my session.  Hope to see you there!

Integrating SharePoint Social features into your Windows Phone 7 Application

Now that you’ve created a Windows Phone 7 application that integrates with SharePoint 2010, it’s time to take it to the next level and integrate social features.  In this session, you will learn how to use the social capabilities SharePoint has to offer such as people search, user profile data, activity feeds, and colleagues. You will also learn how to provide push notifications in Windows Phone 7 applications that alert users when SharePoint list data, or social data has changed.  Finally, you will learn how to use external social web sites like Twitter and Facebook to compliment your social functionality and broaden the reach of your application to the world.
