I enjoyed chatting with all the people who stopped by our booth<\/span><span>. I was able to sneak away from the booth to attend a session presented by <a mce_href=\"http:\/\/blog.u2u.info\/DottextWeb\/patrick\/\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.u2u.info\/DottextWeb\/patrick\/\">Patrick Tisseghem<\/a><\/span><span> on Excel Services. I had not seen Patrick present before and I was really impressed with his session.\u00a0 At the end of the Summit we gave away an XBOX 360 to a lucky winner<\/span><span>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It was good to see the folks from <a mce_href=\"http:\/\/www.bamboosolutions.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bamboosolutions.com\/\">Bamboo Solutions<\/a><\/span><span> again. Their booth was across the aisle from ours and we had a good time hanging out while the attendees were in the sessions and not browsing the booths. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>I met several people in the SharePoint scene for the first time including <a mce_href=\"http:\/\/sharepointsolutions.blogspot.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/sharepointsolutions.blogspot.com\/\">Jeff Cate<\/a><\/span><span>, <a mce_href=\"http:\/\/mindsharpblogs.com\/Todd\" href=\"http:\/\/mindsharpblogs.com\/Todd\">Todd Bleeker<\/a><\/span><span>, <a mce_href=\"http:\/\/mindsharpblogs.com\/Bill\/\" href=\"http:\/\/mindsharpblogs.com\/Bill\/\">Bill English<\/a><\/span><span>, <a mce_href=\"http:\/\/sharepointsolutions.blogspot.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/sharepointsolutions.blogspot.com\/\">Tony Bierman<\/a><\/span><span>, and <a mce_href=\"http:\/\/support.knowledgelake.com\/CS\/blogs\/darrin_bishops_workbench\/default.aspx\" href=\"http:\/\/support.knowledgelake.com\/CS\/blogs\/darrin_bishops_workbench\/default.aspx\">Darrin Bishop<\/a><\/span><span>. During the final night of the Summit we had dinner with Todd, Tony, Darrin, and Patrick. It was nice to be able to introduce my fianc? to these folks, so now she knows who I\u2019m talking about when I come back from SharePoint events and start telling stories about the events. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>After the conference my fianc? and I spent a few days in Phoenix visiting friends.
